Becoming a Student
Looking to get started?
Eagle Aviators is currently accepting new students from ages 13-17. Simply sign up by filling out the waivers with your parent guardian’s signature. They can be printed out and brought on your first day or you can fill them out when you drop your child off.
What to expect on your first day?
Eagle Aviators is currently building airplanes on most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays this summer. Once the school year starts we only build on Saturdays. New students will be introduced to the building program by learning the basic principals of using hand tools and will be working with one of our volunteer builders usually 1:1 or with other new students.
What to Bring?
Students should always bring enough hydration for the day and their own lunch but on the 2nd Saturday of each month we do a bbq lunch but don’t always supply water or drinks. Our hanger also has a microwave and refrigerator that can be used by students.
What to wear?
Wear closed toe footwear and clothing that you are wiling to work in. Building airplanes is not like working on an old greasy car but sometimes you will be working with paint, epoxy, and sanding. The hanger is heated in the winter time but you may want to bring a sweatshirt or long sleeve layer.
