Becoming a Volunteer
Looking to become a volunteer?
Eagle Aviators is currently looking for volunteers to help with aviation building, administration/ scholarship and marketing.
What does being a volunteer mean?
You will be helping our Organization grow and become more organized. We currently have enough students involved that we need more help.
The aviation building involves showing up to our hangar and working with kids.
Our Admin or marketing roles can be done from a remote location but you will still be involved with communication with our board members and flight instructors and potentially have to visit our hangar from time to time.
What skills do I already need?
If you are interested in being a building volunteer we suggest that you have passion and some experience in aviation and consider yourself very handy and proficient with working with power tools, wrenches, rivet guns. Aviation requires a very high level of craftsmanship as well. (the aircrafts we are currently building will be flow by students or sold to private buyers.
If you are trying to become a admin/ scholarship volunteer you will be working with our staff helping us with documents, spreadsheets, and parts/tools orders. On the scholarship side you will be communicating directly with parents and students to help them find funding to start flight training.
As a marketing volunteer we need help creating content for social media, making posters for our events and Young Eagle fly days, website creation,
What do I need to do to sign up?
If you already demonstrate the skills we are looking for we would love to have you come visit our hangar and meet the team. You will then need to become an EAA Member and pass an EAA volunteer background check.
